TeXShop 2.38 - Mac OS X

TeXShop is a TeX previewer for Mac OS X, written in Cocoa. Since pdf is a native file format on OS X, TeXShop uses "pdftex" and "pdflatex"; rather than "tex" and "latex" to typeset; these programs in the standard teTeX distribution of TeX produce pdf output instead of dvi output.




Version 2.38:

* Version 2.38 contains some wonderful changes by Yusuke Terada, who made the changes at the request of employees in the company he works for in Tokyo. Most of Terada's changes are activated by new items in the TeXShop Preference Panel, which are turned off by default. So users need to turn these items on and experiment. You can easily return to the old behavior if desired. The changes are detailed here.
